Mount of Olives

Identified location. The site is known today and most scholars agree on it.

The ridge east of Jerusalem. David climbed it weeping as he fled from Absalom. Jesus came over it into the city, taught four disciples there about the end of the age, went there the night he was arrested, and Acts tells of his ascension from Olivet, from which the eleven walked back to Jerusalem.
