Antioch in Syria
Identified location. The site is known today and most scholars agree on it.
A great city of Roman Syria on the Orontes. Barnabas and Saul taught the church here for a year, and "the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch". Paul's journeys started from here, and here Paul opposed Peter to his face.
