Identified location. The site is known today and most scholars agree on it.
The Gibeonites tricked Joshua into a treaty, and in the battle that followed he said "Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon". Joab's men met Abner's at its pool, and Solomon worshipped at its great high place, where God appeared to him in a dream.
