Edom

Approximate location. The area is clear, but the exact site is not.

The hill country south of the Dead Sea, also called Seir. The dot marks the region near Bozrah. Esau settled here, "Esau is Edom", and his descendants became the Edomites. David put garrisons throughout Edom, and Joab stayed there six months.
