Approximate location. The area is clear, but the exact site is not.

Saul's home town and his seat as king. The news from Jabesh reached him here, and he sat here "under a tree in Ramah, having his spear in his hand". Many place it at Tell el-Ful north of Jerusalem, though some scholars look elsewhere nearby.
