Wilderness of Shur
Approximate location. The area is clear, but the exact site is not.
The desert on the road from Canaan to Egypt. The angel found Hagar by a spring "in the way to Shur", Israel's first days after the sea were spent here, and Saul fought the Amalekites as far as Shur.
