Sea of Galilee
Identified location. The site is known today and most scholars agree on it.
The freshwater lake in northern Galilee, also called the sea of Tiberias. The dot marks the lake. Jesus called Peter and Andrew from their nets on its shore, crossed it often, and after he rose he met the disciples there again while they were fishing.
