Uncertain location. Scholars propose different sites. The dot marks one proposal.

The mountain on the border of Edom where Aaron died. Moses took off Aaron's priestly garments and put them on Eleazar, and "Aaron died there in the top of the mount". Tradition places it near Petra, but many scholars look nearer Kadesh.
