Identified location. The site is known today and most scholars agree on it.
The great island port of the Phoenicians. Its king Hiram sent cedar to David and Solomon, and Nebuchadnezzar's army wore itself out besieging it. Jesus went into the region of Tyre and Sidon, and Paul stayed seven days with the disciples at Tyre.
