Zerubbabel descended from Jehoiakim through his son Jeconiah. Chronicles names his father as Pedaiah and Ezra as Shealtiel, and Chronicles places Pedaiah and Salathiel, in Hebrew the same name as Shealtiel, in Jeconiah's line.
