Pisgah
Approximate location. The area is clear, but the exact site is not.
A summit at the edge of the Moab plateau near Nebo. Balak took Balaam to "the top of Pisgah" to curse Israel from there, but the Lord put a word in Balaam's mouth and he blessed Israel instead. Moses later climbed to the top of Pisgah and saw the land.
