Uncertain location. Scholars propose different sites. The dot marks one proposal.
Israel's last camp before crossing the sea. Pharaoh's army "overtook them encamping by the sea". The frightened people asked Moses if he had brought them out to die in the wilderness, and he told them to stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. The site is not known.
