Mount Nebo
Approximate location. The area is clear, but the exact site is not.
A peak in the mountains of Moab, "over against Jericho". The Lord told Moses to go up and see the land he would not enter. At the end of his life Moses climbed Nebo, the Lord showed him all the land from Gilead to the sea, and there he died. The exact summit is not certain.
