Uncertain location. Scholars propose different sites. The dot marks one proposal.
At Rephidim the people had no water and quarreled with Moses. He struck the rock in Horeb and water came out, and he named the place Massah and Meribah. Then Amalek attacked, and Joshua fought them while Moses held up his hand on the hill. The dot marks one proposed site of Rephidim.
