Identified location. The site is known today and most scholars agree on it.

A town on the coastal plain near Joppa, called Lod in the Old Testament. Peter came to the saints here and found Aeneas, who "had kept his bed eight years". Peter told him Jesus Christ made him whole, he rose at once, and all who lived at Lydda and Sharon turned to the Lord.
