Uncertain location. Scholars propose different sites. The dot marks one proposal.
A Canaanite town in the lowlands. Joshua went from Makkedah to Libnah, fought against it and took it, then moved on to Lachish. Libnah later revolted against Judah in Joram's day, and the king of Assyria fought against it in Hezekiah's day. Scholars propose more than one site.
