Gihon Spring
Identified location. The site is known today and most scholars agree on it.
The spring below the city of David. Nathan and Zadok brought Solomon down here on David's mule and anointed him king, and the people said "God save king Solomon". Hezekiah later stopped its upper watercourse and brought the water to the west side of the city.
