Identified location. The site is known today and most scholars agree on it.
A small island in the Aegean Sea. John wrote that he "was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ." There, on the Lord's day, a voice told him to write what he saw and send it to seven churches in Asia.
